i in no way implied that i wanted to be in there or anything lel i dont even wanna make gamechanging decisions myself at all im just stating that taking opinions from u nerds who did some pvps once upon a time is a bad idea not saying taking it from me is a good one but im sure ppl like ladypoo and some ppl within my group and many others would have good insight on that topic

theres nothing wrong with what ainran is doing or what brodgar is doing theres just ppl from both sides trying to make it as if there is something wrong with it and then the people in the middle with some bullshit personal bias

I agree we should be held to a far higher standard.
We expect that of ourselves and live it every day.
Did we make a mistake here?

I could see why a bunch of people being misinformed out of context or those with political motivations (RedKGB, Burgi) would think so.

The whole idea of a sekrit club forum seems a bit exclusionary to me.

Oh for goodness sake! Not this 'secret forum' stuff again, lol.

If you made a game, or I made a game, who are you going to go to first with your idea's or concerns ... the whole community with lots of voices talking at once, all making different suggestions or a small circle of friends and people whose opinion you respect? Be honest with yourselves here.

It's not excluding anyone, we are on a forum, if you have idea's or suggestions make a thread about them, Jorb is active here now, he answers, he tries to engage us, he streamed for over two hrs last night asking for ppls opinions and listening/answering them, he even had a notebook he wrote stuff down in. You sound like a bunch of five year olds! No wonder you haven't been invited ....

majority of the people in this secret club seem like carebear peaceful farmers trying to ease their troubles from the big bad raiders, they should most definitely be listening to the entirety of the community no matter how hard it is 2 draft good opinions from them. one small group of peaceful noobs who just happen to be well respected by the devs due to how long theyve played the game and other factors is a terrible place to take gamechanging advice from

But that's not the case though is it? You were in the stream last night, you are on this forum, you can quite clearly see that he listens to everyone, it doesn't then follow he has to agree with everyone and I'm sure he doesn't agree with everyone in the not-so-secret club either. The point I was trying to make is that were you or I in the same position it would be our circle we would run things by first before taking them to the community, in the same way that if you are making a speech, for example, you read it out to your family or friends first to hear their opinion on it. It's a perfectly natural course of events, to pretend otherwise is just not being honest with yourself.
Sadly you can't tell them who their friends should be or who they should respect, but, you do still have a voice here, you are not invisible.

How is anyone supposed to believe now that you would actually reimburse someone more developed.

I can vouch that do try to reimburse people mistakenly killed.

Though on a personal belief, I think this whole thread has been overblown out of proportion and is quite silly.
