Correct me if I'm wrong (been skimming the flood of posts). Ainran raided you guys while a new player was trying to join. New player got killed in friendly fire.
I think your group would have been better off just saying it was a mistake and not try to explain/justify it (sounds almost half hearted). In my eyes, it looked even worse as some people in your group have gone have further disparage the new players your group mistakingly killed.
As for the higher standard, no offense but your members have posted some offensive things in other threads (again I my opinion). I'd like to believe not all of your villagers are like that, but at least he vocal ones certainly are.
