New Brodgar - War of Newb Defense

Been around Brodgar recently on both geared main and naked alt, no one attacked or even approached me other than to say hi or kin me.
You can sit and talk about how Brodgar isn't some perfect newbie paradise, but can you show me anything else that comes even close to offering new players to join a community and enjoy the game as easily as brodgar?

Funny you should ask, I believe that pretty much every real village in the game is ok with having newbs around the village and training them, I don´t really understand where people get this idea that newbs are not welcome in any village other than NB, that is not true at all.

Well, I don´t really know the organization of NB defenses myself, was just reading the thread a few pages back and saw the word mercenaries being used to refer to the warriors defending their village that killed the newb that was coming to the village.

The word mercenaries is probably not the correct term, but that is beyound the point since I was just using it to refer to the NB warriors defending the village.

Well, thats the price to pay for recruiting new people, at least that risk has been minimilized with the latest update.

Funny enough is the fact that ry´leh itself did recruit newbs that wanted to join, and the newbs proved to be valuable additions to the cult.

interesting. so some people seem to have started to pick a side while insisting how neutral they are.

that said, the only useful info here out of 20+ pages is delamore's actual first hand experience of visiting there as someone not involved. perhaps delamore has always been lucky and everyone else is just super-unlucky to visit there at the very wrong time, or maybe, just maybe, everyone else is only expecting it should be usually safe to visit a village in a war.
