If they decide to employ such a ruling it shouldn't depend on your sub status. Otherwise people could just buy themselves the right to abuse bugs.

Not sure about legal aspects here though but if it is being made clear in the EULA then there shouldn't be a problem banning subscribers too.

Now, the real question is: Where do we draw the line?

Should it be allowed to collect Dragonflies in a swamp using the horse's magical swampwalking abilities?

Should it be allowed to one-shot animals using the bow at 1 MM (before the fix)?

Should it be allowed to abuse the horse's hitbox to fight animals above your level?

Should it be allowed to trespass into a claimed cave without Trespassing using a horse?

There's varying degrees of bug abuse (from design mistake to blatant abusable bug) and varying degrees of harm caused (from minor advantage for user to complete annihilation of other player). At what point does it constitute 'abuse' and should abusers be punished for it?

i dont think banning is needed.
since we pay for a subscription this is a non tangible item.
meaning resetting characters and nuking the ground is well within the devs rights to do without repercussion.
should they have received an explanation privately i think some level of mercy is due.
but on the flip side exploiting a bug to ruin someones game is just bad juju
perpetraitors should expect to log in with no characters and have to start again, this seems fair since they did just that to the people who raised the issue.
had they used in game mechanics to the level they were created for this simply would not be a discussion.
