There's a chance though that they could do something to deter this in the future if they act on this right now. A pat on the back and a dev cape for a bug jump might look more appealing than having your village and characters nuked from existence.

Hey Burchard, the slate is wiped clean, the old precedents no longer apply, new Canon Law has to be established, and we're all waiting for it to be thus. H&H has been revamped and is again in active development, don't expect everything to be just like before, too much is changing for that to be the case.

Could the person that was killed with this bug not inherit everything from before, and jlo, increase this one persons points to what he had before he died?

It gives recourse for a death by bug abuse. It gives the forumnites an example of good will and apporachable by others.

As for for punishment, salt the earth, never used a bug and never will.
