The Great Halls may not be in good spirit but they are perfectly within terms. Besides the final week those brick walls will be able to be torn down at will without ram. And in teh final 12 hours if you can get to altar you can destroy it without cooldowns. So really the only barrier to you is those great halls. Get through them you can challenge person being sacrificed or it you hold the area last 12 hours you may destroy it.

Good luck to whoever seek to force their will upon the area. :D

they're avoiding the intended wall deterioration, so it must be some kind of abuse. nice to know, but let them have it now. degrade all soak objects next time.

If not nuke turn GH's to no soak, some may want to fight for the alter and these purpously placed GH's need to go.

There is no way you can defend a ram at the alter because you or someone else will destroy it. Give rams no dry for the end of the world or something. That blockage is total bullshit.
