I think you can buy in game items or sell anything with real money but anything that involves selling your account/character that needs password/username exchange is forbidden.

I'm not sure why would this be wrong, since he is literally just trying to buy time and since he has no option to do it himself, he would do it through another person. Devs are not harmed this way at all, they just gain another person and probably he (cause he can play), middle man (cause he gets bonus bucks for doing it for him) and devs (for new paying player) are all happy in this situation. At least I see it that way.

Isn't trading game items for real world cash against the rules like hardcore? Or is the whole rule-set going to be re-written?

If it is not an account being sold, it is done in the light of day (ie. the forums), and both agree and know the risks it should be fine. However one should always know the laws of the area you live in because some places do scrutinize these transactions.

Can I work for a subscription token? For example I'll haul things to and fro your village or deliver stuff in a wagon to your village or use 15 out of the 30 days at your village doing all the odd jobs you don't wan to hassle with. Is this allowed? I do it in other subscription based games, so I'd thought id ask before making a post in apples for oranges...
