How does one have enough per*exp to find mussels but only 7 survival?

Oh, didn't know they had changed pearl quality. In legacy they used to always be the same quality as the mussel. Do you know if there is anything else determining the pearl quality?

idk, i had 15ql river pearl mussels, and i have got 7/7/7 pearl x.x

Seems to be capped by your cooking and per, which made the difference from me getting a q30 pearl to a q14

The pearl quality is the same as the cooked mussel that you get. Therefore, any factors that contribute to the cooked mussel, also contribute to the pearl.

Oh wow, so by getting high quality water you can get high(er) quality pearls then.
I'm actually very surprised by this, I don't see a reason why Jorb and Loftar would change it.

Didn't used to be in legacy, it's new if it's done that way now. Used to be pearl came out identical quality as the mussel, regardless of cooking stuff and the final cooked mussel Q.
