Green newb looking for a crew

I'm looking for a group of friendly folks who'd be willing to take a new player in. For context, I had to post on the help forum to ask how to move around. I'm that new!
I'm GMT -8 based (PDT currently, so actually -7), and don't even really know at this point how active I'll be. What an adventure!
