I have got two fields both with flax and barley. There are beehives (alot) on the first field and no beehives on the second. Flax and barley grow simultaniously on both fields. Can you explain, why the beehives don't affect the first one?

There was a bug with beehives not working on crops covered by multiple hives, but I was told it was fixed...

Impossible to tell from your description. Flax and barley have different base growth times, though.

I have a barley field that is half covered by a bee hive, and it's growing at a uniform speed.

Since barley irl is a wind pollinated crop I thought that was intentional.

Oh, right, yes. Barley is unaffected by beehives.

Beehives dont affect the speed of growing the flax and barley.

Barley makes sense, but flax? It has flowers. Seems odd it would be unaffected to me.

Do we have to cling to real life so much here? Can't we just have all crops being affected by beehives in the same way? I'm fine with having my honey non-gluten-free
