recently bought a 280q metal saw from cf and has 'memories of pain' on it, i assume from the silk lore

all the boards i make with this saw gets 'memories of pain', and keeps going

i have trees with it now, i inspect a tree to get 'memories of pain' from it xD
my trees have memories of pain... they can feel...

will my food/metal have memories of pain if i cook or make charcoal from the wood?

Traits like this are inherited by everything touched. In theory, the whole world and all objects would potentially be taken over by this trait if the world ran long enough and enough trading is done.

Actually "Memories of pain" comes from the lore "Pricked from the Spindle" Which is gotten from crafting anything that requires the spinning wheel to craft, such as Yarn, then any item that has that in use will transfer the tooltip of it.

How does it transfer to a metal saw?
Is it contagious while the wound exist from the lore?

I'm assuming some part of it was crafted from some other part that had it and it eventually ended up on a metal saw. It is possible for it to cross over to pretty much everything crafted at some point or another.

If I am not mistaken, You can even share this with chickens if You build a chicken-coop which possess memories of pain attribute.


While at beginning it was nice, at the end, I'm bit of tired seeing this in nearly everything I touch.
