squabs seem to be bugged right now and you can't cook with them

Custom client issue? Can't reproduce.

He's trying to cook with the whole squab rather than the meat, because the wiki indicates that cooking with the squab is possible, and that butchering a squab results in a bloody mess rather than meat.
Killing a squab results in meat now. Instead, as you can see in his inventory, he's trying to cook the squab itself.
Documentation issue rather than bug.
