3 Days and not a single "Lore" event

Hello! I'm sorry in advance if this isn't an actual bug, but if it is, then i'm sure its repair would be appreciated.

Just as the title says, I've received no experience from lore events in my past 3 days of playing the game. they appeared to work just fine when I first created my toon though.

Is it even possible that it's a bug doing this to me? I'm sure you guy's don't want to reveal too much about how the lore system works, but if it's an RNG determining whether they go off, assuming no single event is blocking you from unlocking more/older events again, then I find it extremely unlikely that I haven't triggered a single one in this time period whereas my friend is having them occur left and right to his character.

Could the issue at all be related to the fact that my character was created on day 1, before any real updates? Or some sort of glitch due to a server crash? My friend has had to make 3 toons since the release, his latest 2 have both triggered at least twice as many events as I have in either variety or quantity of repeated events.

Again, I apologize if this isn't really a bug and the game is just being super unfriendly to me, thank you for your consideration.



Also, great job on hafen. you two already had the most unique, in depth and just plain enthralling MMO on the market in my opinion, and I can't see why any real fan could possibly get mad that you want to maintain that atmosphere by ostracizing the players who weren't actually participating in anything besides exploiting the game.

I have also not seen a single experience event since my first hour or two of playing. I suspect it's got more to do with us not fully understanding the system, but even so it definitely feels a bit too infrequent.

Theoretically it's probably possible to never get them. We will be adding more of them, though.

Experiences that occur passively are infrequent and award small amounts of exp. Walking into the night was like 75 experience points for me. Same for experiences for activities that have to be done in huge bulk. 9 Cumulative hours of digging (With a shovel and efficient water/food systems via skins and barrels) awarded me maybe 3 digging experiences. Meanwhile I right clicked a willow tree by accident and it gave me 500 experience points.

Simple experiences will passively happen very slowly and will only award you enough to get by. Doing stuff like building, exploring, and generally things that bots could not easily replicate will award tons of exp and will happen more frequently.

I got 1 or 2 at the start then 2 days later 4 in a row in like 15 minutes interval then none at all. To be fair I've mostly only done exploring so far but still random is random.

Is it possible you could switch from a true RNG system to psuedo RNG? As in, the more times it does not happen, the more likely the next time you do something that provokes them it will happen?
