Logout on claim

Postby Kamekono » Thu Oct 01, 2015 12:50 pm

Hello, I have a problem.
Yesterday, after a few hours of walking, I finally reached my friends. I logged out next to their claim, because the owner wasn't online to give me permissions. When I tried to log back in, I got the following message:

"The position where you last logged out is not available, because that location is claimed. Would you like to restart at your hearth fire insted?"

I wasn't inside the claim, because I didn't have permissions for it and my Criminal Acts was turned OFF. I logged off next to their claim, but not inside it.

Today the owner added me to the perms, and I still get that message, preventing me to login in that spot, even if I have permission for trespassing etc..

Frankly, I don't want to waste 3 more hours of play-time walking back there..

What can I do to solve this problem?

At least you learnt a lesson. If you're travelling long distances build hfs frequently because you can get trapped in houses etc sometimes.

Are you sure the claim hasn't been expanded?

I believe the only way to fix this is for the claim owner to disband his claim. He will lose the LP invested in the claim, but that will probably be a smaller loss than for you to spend 3 more hours walking.

There might be a village claim, I don't recall seeing the "Welcome to NAME" message, but I might have been distracted. But why would that prevent me to login? If it's not a criminal act to walk in it, it shouldn't be an issue. Especially since you might just crash..

Right, I should build a trail of dream catcher, or travel with one lifted above me, so I can have a B.Dream when I need it..

I'm sure the claim was not expanded, I asked the owner, they haven't expanded it in a while now.
Disbanding is not a solution, their claim is pretty big, it would take them much LP to restore it. They are never gonna do that.

Not everyone can play several hours a day, so 3 hours is a while.. Also, you get 7 hours of play-time a week, meaning if I wasted those 3 and I have to spend 3 more to get there again, I practically lost an entire week of play-time due to a bug..

Thanks jorb. I'll wait for news.

The village claim is the issue. This is working as intended to prevent logging out on the village claim and then suddenly logging back in much later like a ninja. You have no way to avoid repeating your trip I'm afraid.

I see.. but would be nice to have some kind of warning about this when logging out.. or not being able to logout..

This game really lacks a "beginner guide" with information like that..
