Stuck on Claim

Soooo. I walked onto someones claim. Now it says Im a visitor and I cant leave

Post context if you are posting a bug. Why can't you leave?

You get visitor buff when you enter the claim through gate. Exit through the gate you entered the claim, or use Adventure -> Haven & hearth -> travel to your Hearthfire.

Not sure why I cant leave. Perhaps because the edge of the claim is right adgacent to the Gate. It says "This is someones Claim" and it makes the tick noise and doesnt let me leave. Not really sure how I got inside, I must have criminal acts turned on. But I dont have trespassing skill so I dunno . Dont want to hearth travel because of my boat being so far lol. But I will if I have to.

Ah well I logged out and it forced me to my hearthfire lol.
Anyway still not sure if that was a bug. Got on the Personal claim somehow and then couldnt get off of it lol. Maybe its intended that way

Shouldn't matter unless you're on the claim and the gate isn't. Screenshots are very helpful in situations like this.

You were in a party with the claim owner, which gave you permission, or you had criminal acts on. However, without the Trespassing skill, you shouldn't have been able to operate a gate, open containers, go in houses, etc.

well, the other possibility is that it was a newly made claim = no presence, but the owner got presence in the claim from having bond in study while u were still inside.

I've not had experience with this. Would it give the visitor debuff in the first place since the claim does nothing without presence?

The gate was open and I didn't have "show claims on" I wasnt really paying attention going through it, then when I went to leave, I finally realized I was on a claim but I was stuck and it wouldnt let me leave. It was just a roundpole fence gate.

But why were you stuck? Why couldn't you just walk out the same way you came in?
