It only appears when i get too close to a certain biome and disappears when i walk away from it

That is quite strange, and I can't think of anything that might cause that. I assume you can download http://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/gfx/tiles/scrubveld-tex.res fine from a browser, correct?

It loads about 1/4th and then stops, i guess its something on my end then

edit: i tried again now it finished without problems
