Lynxes don't run away, and they don't show what attacks they

1) Lynxes no longer run away. Previously, they would immediately run away when approached. Now you can easily approach them at point-blank range.
2) During combat, the gaps they open don't show up (in 2 out of 3 cases).

This behavior started after the update.

Not sure about the openings ("gaps") since I haven't fought a lynx in a while, but they definitely weren't always running away at first sight, it's a common but not a 100% behavior. Unless you killed, like, 10 and 0 of them tried to run away, it's in the frame of possibility and nothing to worry about.

I killed three of them—not one tried to escape. Before that, everyone ran as soon as they showed up within sight. I approached these ones point-blank.

Brother, get more intimidating. If kitty-cats don't run from ya means you're a pretty flower, not a rugged warrior!

It's funny, of course, but before this, they all ran away. When I was an even "sweeter little flower". Actually, all of them. And now, not a single one.

Well yesterday I almost lost my horsey because I had to jump numerous ledges chasing a lynx into a river because the nasty bitch just kept pacing away from me.

Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you. It's all random. No changes to Lynx behavior registered whatsoever on my side.

I see. Well, I just reported my observation because their behavior changed dramatically. Maybe I'm lucky and they don't run away 10 times in a row? Three times isn't indicative. Ten is possible. When the count reaches 20 or more, if nothing changes, I'll let you know.

Reporting an ad hock observation is one thing.
But without adding the statistics that let to the perceived observation ... anyone that know randomness a bit will probably think, "Yea sure. Lets wait until more posters complain about it".

Alternatively ... maybe, juuuust maybe, there is something in the game that has some affect on the Lynx behavior. (At this point the brain usually starts waving a white flag.)
It not like the dev's (Jorb mainly of course) spill many minor beans. Would kill the famous "Joy of Discovery" mantra.
