I also have the dreaded lingering Visitor tag, came from exiting a cave that placed my character onto a claim it an open doorway, rather than trespass I hearthed home and now the debuff remains, logging out does not get rid of the debuff, have had it for 2 days now.

Maybe your own claim pole/ village idol should have an option when you right click it "Home sweet home" that will remove visitor buffs. No clue if you can place a personal claim on a village you don't have permision though. Someone can iluminate? Or just porting to your hf. Can you vandalize build hf? Questions. I need to grief moar I think.

Should probably be mentioned that if you get a visitor debuff and leave the claim without the debuff going away, you can't actually trespass back onto the claim to get rid of it. Kind of a problem.

I'm really sure about if it was reported or not, but here what I've experienced:
I was invited in party by claim-owner, moved through gates, got visitor debuff and got kicked from party. After this I was able to do anything I like on his claim - stealing, vandalising etc.

Will look at that.

Forgot to mention, I was able steal and vandalise without criminal acts turned on.

This sounds exceedingly strange, and we can't reproduce it in testing. If you know how to reproduce it I'd love to know about it, but it sounds more as if you hadn't actually left the party.
