I've added that info to the wiki page you've linked, but do note that this wiki is heavily outdated.
The information can't be relevant if it is impossible to perform the actions indicated on the page. I don't need to build a grave, respectively, this item was left only for decoration and gain experience only for burial.
still, that's YOU who need to read carefully:
"A Grave Cairn may be used to bury your ancestor's skeleton and skull, together or separately. Burying the skeleton returns 35% of the ancestor's stats, and burying the skull gives another 10%. You bury by lifting the skeleton and right click the grave with it.
Thus: If you have buried your ancestor entirely you inherit up to 45% of his stats total. Known skills are converted to their LP cost and inherited as LP. If you have already leveled beyond your ancestor when burying him, you receive no immediate benefit from the burial. Anyone can bury a skeleton, and the heir will receive the benefit regardless of who buried the ancestor. Smashing an occupied cairn will destroy the skeleton. The body must be decayed into a skeleton before it can be buried.
You may put flowers on the grave.
Note: to get the stats and lp from burial, you have to inherit by visiting the graveyard at character creation screen and clicking the "inherit" button before you burn in fire, spawning a new character."
You made 0 of needed actions listed on that page so have 0 right to doubt its value.
Create new character, perform actions, get your +2 strength and 1500LP be happy
