I`m quite sure that Hemp is not flowering, it`s pollinated by wind, like barley. Pipeweed, on the other hand, have visual flowers.

Buds? Forgive those of us who are horticulturally challenged.

Bud, in this case, refer not to actual pretty and colorful flower, but to pollinating organ of hemp. It`s still working as regular, just pollen transfered by wind, not by insects. And resulting *bud* is more like soft cone (or corn, or barley, they all are pollinated by wind). Here is picture for you.

Sever wrote:So flowering would be:
Carrots
Flax
Hemp
Peas
Pumpkins
Poppies
Grapes

Non-flowering:
Barley
Pipeweed
Beets
Hops

The more wrong this list is, the more we need an official one.

Also, the only reason I wanted a beehive was to make barley not take 5 years to grow. Now i guess I'll just make a 200x400 field instead. ETA... 6 months.

Beets are counted as a flowering crop actually. I'm getting Q40 wax and the only crop I have in the Q40 range is beets.

(beets flower IRL, just not visible ingame)

I feel like someone's also mentioned flax not working with beehives

And I followed up with a test on that that shows flax does. Planted 200 tiles, 100 tiles I harvested just now, other 100 without hives is still on stage 3.

Nobody has confirmed onions? I know everyone hates onions, but they are biannual flowering tubers like carrots and beets, so is it safe to assume the interact with hives?
