Interstellar's Hypercube (AKA Crazy Graphical Glitch)

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

I happened to me twice on dandelions a few days past. They worked fine for a while and the next one I see is the polygon-explosive kind. I'm fairly certain that i alt-tabbed before that, though. It may, or may not be a coincidence.

Oh-oh, I probably shouldn't have eaten that mushroom.

Were the blocks that way from the outset, or were they working from the beginning and only then "turned bad"?

They were working from the beginning, then i minimized the game and came back and they were like that, picking them up and putting them back onto the ground didn't fix them, i had to restart my client to fix it

This happens to me on rare occasions with trees. If I walk out of the general area and come back it normally goes away. Will take pics next time it happens.

Specs as asked from the first page

newest java, newest video drivers, 4790k 2x 290x

I do run a 4k monitor, however I also have 2 1080p monitors and the artifacts show up on all 3.

This bug has been happenning to me since day 1, both using default client, and shovel. The reason I didn't report it (lazines aside) is because it fixes by turning on/off pre-fragment lightning. I got it off right away as I was getting slower framerates, but quickly I had to start switching from off to on and the other way around to fix this bug everytime it appears, to the point that the option has nothing to do with lightning anymore

Anyway, this has happened almost anytime, while foraging or on the base. It doesn't happen THAT often, though. Just now and then.

I post a pic, though I think you have enough of them. The bug stays no matter how I move the camera or walk, until I walk a certain point, in which it dissapears. It never crashed my game.

THAR SHE BLOWS! THE GREAT BLUE WHALE, MOBY DICKHEAD, another of the cousins in the graphical glitches.

I am running on a more or less unmodified Dell Precision M4400. It has a very good GFX card and I have been playing decently on it until now. It sometimes shrinks or even fades away depending on how the camera is cocked - though I can only let the camera settle on one of four degrees...

You are much loved! Love in return!

Hey jorb, will buying a brand new computer fix this problem, and if so, what graphics card should I get that won't give me these issues?
Atm im using AMD Radeon R7 200 series
AMD athlonX4 760K Quad Core Processor 3.80GHZ - 8GB of ram
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy
