Interstellar's Hypercube (AKA Crazy Graphical Glitch)

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

I was just walking and huge brown things appeared

What is this and has this happened to anyone else too?

Atm im using AMD Radeon R7 200 series
AMD athlonX4 760K Quad Core Processor 3.80GHZ - 8GB of ram

I know you asked jorb, and I'm not him, but from a few posts I'm seeing on other issues, I don't think that's the problem. (You'd probably get a more informed reply from loftar, anyway.) I'm running an AMD A6 with only the integrated GPU. It's taxing the computer like nothing else I run, but I can run it relatively smoothly with shadows on and 4x AI. I do get the regular "array out of bounds" error some people are posting about. (Seems to run around 54-55 C, processor is rated to run up to about 70 C.)

I have a thought on this if a bug can't be traced down. Could it potentially be from processor or memory overheating/overperforming? Could be interesting to hear from anyone experiencing this if they are having their GPUs run near max safe operating temps or such, whether overclocked or not. HWMonitor is fairly popular and freeware.

I get these problems like every 10 min

i am using ATI radeon 5850, intel i5

As a temp fix I go into video options and toggle the first option. this seems to reset the graphics for awhile. It happens mostly while going in and out of houses.

Haha, I found one, it was much bigger at first but shrank as I approached it, I tried to back off again to make it change but it just remained as you see it. First time this glitch has happened to me, I quite like it, it's like a fountain or a statue. :)

Cave in creates unusual graphical effect.

Postby Einlanser » Sun Sep 27, 2015 5:19 pm

While mining, I had a cave in. Afterward, the stones seemed fine. I left the mine, returned to the mine, and this unusual graphical effect seemed to be emanating from one of the stones from the cave in beneath some bats. As those bats weren't present initially, they may be related to the graphics bug.

Relogging in the same spot seems to have resolved the issue. I'm not sure if that tells you something useful about it or not.

Got some info might be useful. I built a branch pile, when I logged into my other account I get the glitch. When my character clicks my door he instead walks towards branch pile. so its like the hitbox of the branchpile is stretched across my door in this glitch. Also the fix for these glitches in closing and restarting the game, not relogging. relevant screen:
