If you keep crashing the server you're most likely to get a ban not a dev cape
Crashing the server and making people quit is kinda against the rules (not that there are any rules but you still dont deserve one)

Not sure if this is related, but the server crashed just now right as I lit a fire but something weird happened; I finished lighting, and put the firebrand in my inventory for ash (which I got) but the fire wasn't lit even though I was pretty sure it had completed. The server crashed immediately after I put the ash in my inventory.

Server crashed shortly after I put out a fire. Perhaps it goes down if someone puts out a fire at the same time as someone lighting it?
