Cannot connect to the server

Hello, I have a problem connecting to the server - after authenticating and connecting I get an error "could not connect to the server". I tried to download the client again, but it didn't work and my windows firewall is off. Any ideas what might be the case?

The server crashed, Expect this alot since hafen just came out...

It hasn't even been a day since launch, crashes are to be expected. For future reference there is a sticky'd thread for server crash rage. Also apparently people are exploiting bugs to crash it.

Oh. It crashed now, but I had this problem earlier, when the server was on too

Yeah I know the server is off now, but I had this problem for the whole day, even when the server was on.

Now the server is on, and I'm still getting the "Could not connect to the server" error. Any ideas?
