Grub doesn't work as bait

I've caught nothing for a long time with this one grub who's just been chilling on my pole the whole time

Grub does work as bait, you probably just need to fish in an area with a fishing node. (indicated with jumping fish)

Are you sure there's fish where you are fishing. Should see them jumping.

It is bait, you just chose wrong place

In every place I've fished with a grub, there was a node. I even switched bait and got a fish!

i fish with grub and it work all time fishing take time in hafen so ^^

with every bait, the timer runs down once or twice and I get a fish
with grubs, it runs down ten times, and no fish!
what's wrong with my fishing technique guys

Could be no fish there that want a grub? Could be bad RNG? We're still trying to get a grasp on what works and doesn't work in fishing, and mechanics of any changes.
