I was afk fishing and a bear agroed me. It stood right in front of me without doing anything eventually the bear just left me

It was just making sure you were hard at work fishing those tasty fishies. With a grunt and sneeze it went on to the next hearthling.

But it would be a nice mechanic that you - while doing peaceful things - won't get punished by the world that much...
