Charactet 'Steal' and claim

When character is knocked on it's claim, you can use 'Steal' on it and watch inventory etc without Trespassing. But you need Traspassing to watch crates and stuff, so i think maybe you also should need it in this case too?

you can when it's not on a claim also, but if you try to take anything, "that would be theft" or whatever message

Yeah, but i think knocked character, lying on the claim, should be concerned as 'object on claim' in any case, and should match claim rules

The problem with being able to steal from dead characters on your claim is, all you would have to do is carry the dead body into your claim for free access to all his things.

True.

But given that you manage to get a corpse on your claim you would get them eventually, just maybe a bit later when you can harvest the head.

And since a good porting of the characters won't be able to despawn anyway soon (because of being red handed) you can leave the client open so the items won't despawn when the corpse turns.

the issue here is that interacting with any object on a claim you do not have permissions on should require trespassing. removing the items from the body requires theft whether it is on a claim or not.
