Claim doesn't refund lp (not a bug apparently)

I tried declaiming my claim temporarily after a mistake in layout and I noticed that I didn't get any of my lp back from the claim.

Is this a bug or is this the new intended function?

Intended to prevent the old abuse of claims as an LP bank for revives.

What would be wrong with it refunding if you did it on the character that made the claim, and not descendants?
