Beehive Coverage Borkified

Only the first beehive is providing crop growth acceleration.
Second (and third off-screen) are sitting there with thumbs up ass, only producing honey/wax but not accelerating crop growth.

This screenie is not great at illustrating it, but everything in the first beehive grows quicker than things in coverage of 2nd/3rd hive. Confirmed for at least 4 crop cycles.

Feel free to use more. Is the problem that crops covered by several beehives somehow don't use all of them?
Is the problem that a crop covered by only a single beehive doesn't accelerate?

Be aware that there is a small amount of RNG in the growth timers, though I don't think that should be enough to confuse you to the point of not seeing speed increases from hives.

Any crop not covered by the FIRST beehive in the area does not accelerate.

Crops covered by the FIRST beehive properly accelerate.
Crops covered by the second, third, or both second and third beehive do not accelerate.

This is my crop setup, you can see the other beetroots that aren't touched by the beehives radius from the first picture finally starting to bud in, hours later.
They were all planted simultaneously.

Beehive #1 (next to large wheat field and large rows of peapods) - Gives Acceleration
Beehive #2 (closest to ovens) - Does not give acceleration
Beehives #3 (closest to mansion) - Does not give acceleration

Here's another one, with the same thing:

The carrots and beetroot under beehive #1 are more advanced than the carrots and beetroot under coverage by both beehive #2, and #3.

Testing cannot reproduce. We ask ourselves:

  • Are you aware that each tile planted randomizes its finishing time slightly?
  • Are you aware that each beehive is somewhat limited in how many crops it can boost per unit of time?

*perks up*

How many tiles of crop per hive? Or is it related to growth stages?

It can/will try to burst each crop once per growth stage. It can burst thusly up to a cap of 50 bursts spent. It regenerates on average 6 bursts per hour.

50 max per what? Crop stage? Hour? Day? Beehive life? I'm very confused.
