Trees converting ground into the wrong type?

So i planted a bunch of trees that are native on grassland, on grassland. And they've started converting the ground(as you can see by the two small tiles) into forest tiles. And from the looks of it, its conifer forest, which none of these trees spawn in.

You sure that's not one of the deciduous forests? There's a couple out there with green tones to them.

Do agree though: Planting a tree from a biome back into that biome probably shouldn't change the type.

All trees presently drop basic forest type. Not a bug per se.

Is now for all tree types basic forest groun type is native?

Hmmm. Do they even care about the ground at all, I ask myself. If they do they use the one they drop.
