Road doesn't work sometimes

We've got several roads and one of them just doesn't work sometimes. After the hourglass finishes nothing happens. Other roads work just fine but this one... I'd say it doesn't work 80% of the time. We don't get buff, we don't get ported to the obstacle, nothing happens at all. Also there are no obstacles if we press follow. It leads to the swamp and our only guess is that animals(mb aggressive ones) cancel it somehow.

Has anyone else seen this?

Any steps to reproduce?

I saw something similar happen today. I tried 3 times on the same port and it said "there is no room at the destination". It was saying this because one of my villagers was standing on the road with a cart. Why it didn't port me to them i have no idea though =\
