Character Creation not working?

Hi! This is my first time playing the game. I'm running it on a Mac and when I log in, I'm just shown this purple ball bouncing. I haven't seen anything similar to this when I searched online, so I figured I'd ask if something is wrong? Here's a screenshot: Image

Follow the instructions that pop up on screen, otherwise you may be having similar issues as other Mac users right now. viewtopic.php?f=47&t=39840&hilit=MacOS
