Curding tubs won't make curds unless the map is loaded

As the title says. If I put the tub in a basement and never go there, it'll never make a curd unless I babysit it. If I put it outside and let it sit where villagers always keep the map loaded, it makes curds, except when we're all asleep, then it stops again
