Curio's not studying while offline

I logged in after 4 days away, to find that most of my curio's had finished studying, however my toy chariot had 0% complete. I removed it, then placed it back in to study again, and only then did it start studying.
Later in the evening I logged back out for a few hours while I went to bed (aprox 7 hours) only to log back in and find a dandelion and ant soldiers to have only completed 25%.
I am using amber client, and this only appears to have started happening since the last update. If it helps I always 'log out' of the game, instead of simply pressing the big red X.

yes, plenty. I have about 3.5k now. I had a few xp events pop up since posting, but not 3.5k's worth

And they are right now just sitting in your study report and not advancing?

Yes, they study while I am online, its when I log off that some of them don't continue. It's weird... some continue as normal, while others seem to freeze.
I'm logging off now for about an hour, and have made a list of curios on study right now along with their percentages complete. I will let you know the results when I get back.

just logged back in after 2 hours. Everything seems to have made the progress I would have expected. I'll let you know if it happens again
