Dehydration

Not sure if its a bug or what hap`pened but it was fast.
Yesterday, while coming to my village with a new char i nearly got drowned and suffered 50hp damage of dehidration + a -5 int bonus. I logged like 20 min ago, the buff was there at -36hp or something like that. Went out the village, the -5 was still there, walked in a swamp and in less than 2 min all was gone. No penalties, no damage. Fully restored (with yellow bar regenerating).

I think you may be confusing dehydration with asphyxiation.

It restores relatively quickly if you're healing, I believe. There's also a slight update bug that may make a relog necessary for the buffs to update properly. Pretty sure there's nothing new here.

I would certainly hope you didn't become dehydrated from drowning
