Shooting over water

Looks like with the newest patch you can no longer fire arrows over rivers or deep water. Tried to fire a shot over some water at a nearby bear and the arrow disappeared into the water instead of flying over it. Went to another section of water and test fired an arrow over it, the arrow tracer disappears the second it goes over the water and makes the plopping sound of it falling into water.

Arrows No Longer Work accross a river

Since the Update today I have tried to hunt with my bow and arrow. Every arrow I shoot no matter what I shoot at, if it is across the river, goes into the river. I can aim at the top of a tree and the arrow still goes into the water.
Is anyone else having this issue?
