My curiosities wont study?

Hey =) I have been passing curiosities through and doing normal haven and hearth stuff you know. Until just recently when i put in a few things like and more than anything this itsy bitsys web and a squirrel tail are taking a horrendous amount of time. It seems like they only study when im logged in, because i logged off for about 12 hours and they seemed to make little or no progress. im just curious what could be going wrong. i dont want to stay logged in for hours because it will use up my time to play the game...

Curiosities do indeed study while you're offline. It just so happens that the server was down for some 6-8 hours this morning so that will have been what happened. On top of that spider's webs and squirrel tails already take ages to study, so combined with the downtime it would've seemed like they stopped studying. Keep us posted though if this happens again and you can't find any sign of recent downtime in the "Server Status" thread.

i dont want to stay logged in for hours because it will use up my time to play the game...

Actually, until 4th of january you can play as much as you want, and to play time will tick. Present from devs.
