Ok, so we finally got hold on some grain.
Great joy.
Grain is growing fine. I wanted to be effective and prepare some trellis. Built trellis on top of grain.
Realized it might a problem harvesting it. Destroyed trellis.
Behold: The grain is destroyed too!
Is there any way to salvage the grain?

Let me reiterate in other words:
I had planted some grain (barley) on the field.
I then placed trellis on top of it to prepare the area for such plants.
Remmebering that this might make harvesting the grain difficult, I destroyed one trellis.
This destroyed the trellis and the barley. Would it not make more sense that this action destroyed just the trellis?

I left 4 seeds in one of the boxes outside.

The rest is under the trellis.
I checked if I can harvest ripe beets under trellis, but I can not..

Tests done on the beets suggest that the grain is unrecoverable..

I know. I am relieved someone finally took time to taunt me.
I was getting worried. What I am looking for is a way to destroy the trellis without harming the plants or harvesting the plants.

There's probably nothing you can do barring divine intervention
I assume it doesn't differentiate between trellis and non trellis crops when the trellis is destroyed

Can I ask for us to be able to lift or destroy trellis without destroying non-trellis crops?

Destroying a trellis destroys non-trellis crops. Might fix.
