Soak not accurate?

Great Halls have 25 soak and 25000HP. Stone Towers have 30soak and 30000HP. Palisades have 30 soak and 2500HP. Brick Walls have 50 soak and 3000HP. Statues of the Chieftain have 20 soak and 2000HP. Village Banners have 15 soak and 3000HP. Village Idols have 30 soak and 30000HP. Claim Poles have 15 soak and 15000HP. Charter Stones have 20 soak and 30000HP. Field Cairns have 5 soak and 1000HP.

So timber houses have 7 soak? I'm using a pickaxe and have 90 str, can't damage it. By the soak you mention, I should be able to bash my house with 25str, using a pickaxe, right?

Also, if soak is supposed to build up over time, I should mention that I can't damage a stone tower I had JUST built.

Sorry if it's covered somewhere, couldn't find it through a few searches.

for the stone tower: did you have the building sign up a while before? the soak already starts building right after placing the sign, not after it's been completed.

is this also true for a palisade? and then just for that corner post or everything?

i only know for sure that it happens with the stonestead, but there's no reason why it would be just with that, so probably any construction sign you place. extending from an existing palisade with soak would still start at 0, but go up as soon as you place the sign. again, don't know this for sure, but it makes sense.

i wonder if thats the problem with the time discrepency for Vclaims going live as wel.....
place sign, build to 100% for an ongodly amount of time, and that time is part of the 24 hours before it goes life.....

should be able to test this....

Yes, the sign was up for a couple of days, it was a 2nd tower so we made it a casual build. But I'm more concerned about the actual soak values.

The timer system for siege weapons could be different though.
