I am the Creator of Wax (for the miner's helm)

I found out you can lit a miner's helm if you use a torch even if you never (ever) put a candle in it. (ou vilage does not have wax yet)

I do not think this is intended and I could not find a report for such tool (perhaps because this helmet is not used much)

for finding a bug of such importance I expect nothing less then an infinite stream of capes with a big K on it. =)

Has anybody ever wasted wax on a Miner's Helm, other than to see what it's like (and never doing it again afterwards)?

My guess is that as long as the server dosn't do checks for lighting and deals out harsh punishments when you try to mine in darkness... none will.

Yes, it has always been a thing, but the hat goes out after a few seconds since it has no fuel

I like having light in caves, but wax is far, far too valuable to waste for a short-term visual effect (plus I need my head slot for the bear cape while mining). I'd be fine with lighting options if they were cheaper and lasted longer.

Bug should have been fixed with today's update, but thought this should be said as they did exist previously, and that's torch stands.
