Backpack hiding

Postby CorwinOfAmber » Mon Apr 04, 2016 7:13 pm

So I was in a boat and used shift click to put my backpack into my inventory and it disappeared. No splash noise played but I assumed it lost to the depths, I went back to base, put on a new one and there it was! So I think this has something to do with the shift click putting it into the empty space the backpack makes and then it disappears with your inventory shrinking only to pop back up when you go back to having those slots. Not a major problem but could be a pain in the butt for inventory management.

This bug gets reported fairly regularly. Just in case you need to get the item back without having another backpack nearby, you can open a cupboard and use the mouse wheel to transfer the hidden backpack/traveller's sack into the cupboard (or any storage item).

There's a sticky.

Also -- you heard it here first -- will be fixed this next patch. The age of wonders has not passed.

Depends, since for tsacks it was quite handy to be able to store one of them in the void when you need a free hand for a tool.

And yet this wasn't added to a super thread, strange.
