Not sending email when making new account

Some friends wanted to play but the email when making new account is not being sent. Is there something wrong there? It's been days!

Seems to be quite common issue.
Check spam folders and dont use some shady email addresses.

Which means the ones from microsoft, since they don't offer email (but an abomination that ignores the agreed upon internet standards).

I've seen at least one similar report in the last few days. I checked out the e-mails mentioned in that report, which were bound to a GMail address, but GMail had reported that they had been properly received. I also tested with a GMail address myself, and had my e-mails properly delivered to it. Not sure if there even is a real issue yet (or if it is a case of user error), or what that issue would be, more exactly.

If you PM me the e-mail addresses, I can check those too against the logs.
