Noticed a bug. A village member and I both got our first quest from the same tree. I completed the quest right away while he was offline. I then chopped down the tree to see what would happen.
He now cannot complete his first quest and cannot commune with nature to find a new one. What should he do?

Normally, the quest would fail if the questgiver is gone. I'll have to see if there's a way that this might not happen as it should. Could you give me the account and character name of the character with the defunct quest? (You can PM me with the information if you don't want to make it public.)

Does this mean that I could loose a questgiver? Or will it be placed somewhere else to continue the same quest?loftar wrote:Normally, the quest would fail if the questgiver is gone. Like different tree, but the same name.

I found a bug whereby chopping a tree could bypass properly destroying any questgiver associated with that tree. Fixing presently.
