About Stuttering

Postby sMartins » Thu Sep 01, 2016 7:04 pm

I've made this short video to let you see my stuttering issue...i would like to know if this happen also to you.
It's generally a random event ( it seems to be linked with both, map and minimap generation), usually playing more time results also in more stuttering and more often, sometime more intese sometime less.
I would only like to know if this is a "normal" thing (i can live with it) or there is something I can do about. I'm using the original client.

Hardware doesnt really matter when software has some major bottlenecks and stuff that causes random suttering.
But I guess you cant improve perfect code.

Did you try launching and playing the Enders client with the launcher I posted? You should try it and see if it works for you. Would help to see if it works for someone else, my game hasn't stuttered since.

Jorb has posted on my thread so they obviously know it's a thing, but I guess we need to come together to see if the issue iso fixed for someone else. Then Loftar might make some adjustments to the default client.

Recently i went for a trip and the stuttering issue while exploring seems a bit better now, it's still there but not that heavy like before.
I don't know if it depends from the server also, how many player there are, etc...but still it seems a bit better now, at least to me.
Thx Loftar...good job and keep going, i guess it's the right direction.
Let me know if it is better for you also, obviously on the default client.

Hoping this is fixed, indeed. Haven't seen it recur myself.
