slave keys not working

my sister tried to make a copy of her master key and the copies wouldn't work at all, then her slave keys stopped working. would love advise on this.

A slave will only open a gate (with the corresponding lock) from the inside.
Maybe she just copied the wrong key?

no we copied her gate key. It was the only key she had and she was making me a master key from her master and it would not work. then her slave keys stopped working

Sounds like the lock was changed. This can be done by people who have master key of the lock.

When I first made my keys ..all of them worked..slave keys and master key..then I made a copy of the master key and after that neither of the master keys would work but the slave keys worked.. after several trys and none of them worked I tried to reinstall new locks and it would not install a new lock. so all I can do is open the gate from the inside.

Did the master size to work the moment you made the copy, or after you gave the copy to someone else?
Did the master every leave your characters inventory (so someone might have gotten an additional copy, or swapped it)?

no..i tried the master after I made it and it would not work..even the original one would not work after that.

I am fixing it the only way I know how..destroy a gate and rebuild it and start over
