issue with study desk

had an issue where my study desk wasn't working with my character. i had to make a new one

actions i took;

filled it
put it in a boat moved it to a knarr, moved it from the knarr into another boat then took it out put it down wouldn't take out of study desk to my study.

From my experience the desk will only add new stuff to your study the moment you complete studying a curiosity.

Yes I know how they work but it seemed to have broke after I moved it didn't give me an option to reclaim. Had to make a new one to get it a desk working g again

To get that right: after you moved it and it was back under the sun (= not inside a storage slot) a studied curiosity finished but the desk (which contained replacements) didn't deliver?

no the whole mechianic of the desk stop working i had to build a new one to fix the issue

AS IN: i couldnt reclaim it.

i tired adding more curios to it and it still wouldnt pull from said desk

Could not claim desk after my character died as well had to make a new one...
