No. It refers to the new berries not being part of the "Berry" class for crafting.

It's literally the first sentence.

I've rereaded it again, it states that you can eat IRL version, not in-game version. And cooking berries and nuts in-game requires edible objects. It sounds more like "make some of unedible edible.

Edit: It doesn't explicitly say that you can't cook edible ones.

The subsequent posts discuss edibility after someone says it isn't a bug because they aren't edible. I then say I am unsure if that's an intended function because Rowan berries are edible in real life, IE why I posted the bug report. Read the OP for fucks sake man, it's the first sentence.
