Strange lag?

Postby apoc254 » Fri Feb 03, 2017 2:54 am

Okay, so this is going to sound strange I am sure, but I am experiencing some kind of lag issue that is not really just lag.
If I had to describe it.. I would say my upload is spot on fast, but the download is crazy slow.

Here is what is going on. I can left click to move around just fine with no lag or issues... until I attempt to go to an area the map has to load.

If I right click, the right click action is delayed by about 15-30 seconds. if I left click to move, the action is instantaneous.

If I click an action to lift or attack the action is very delayed to even be available and change my cursor.

Any idea what this is? it just about killed my character now... you cant imagine how bad it is being 15-30 lagged to all actions in a fight with a wolf.

Yes, appears to be a Wolverine or a Badger, your garbo Resolution doesn't tell me which of them it is, tho.

That's the wolverine. Badgers are grey, wolverines are brownish.

There's a reason nobody intelligent has used that site since the mid 2000s.

Turns out it's client side lag and not network lag. There was an issue with Java doing something stupid.

Thanks for the advice and support all.

Resolved.
