Failing Nomad Quests

Postby AntiBlitz » Sun Nov 12, 2017 4:13 am

So, I logged on this evening, and in red text, it tells me i've failed the nomad quest i had. Im not sure how i couldve failed it, considering it was one of the greet quests. Does this mean someone destroyed the quest giver? If so, why the hell do i get punished for it. Now i have to complete the quests over again because it sent me back quests.

Is this an intended feature? Or just how the game goes about creating a new quest since the other was impossible to perform. Of course this is all assuming that the quest giver has been killed. Wasnt sure where to stick this thread, as i didnt really consider it a bug.

im aware they can die, im asking if this is an intended feature of the credo quests, or if something else occurred. I was gone for like 4 hours max since i completed one quest and was provided this one, and when i log on its failed. I have a hard time believing someone chopped the tree down, but its my only assumption. Also, not to mention it set me back in the line of quests, which is kinda shitty.

Looks like someone is destroying questgivers, no other reason why you should fail greet quests.

It's a bad design decision that the ones who have open quests have to suffer from this, but when it comes to griefing exploits our two trolls often come up with things that make me wonder: don't they learn or are they sadists?

People don't even have to target them. Maybe it was a certain tree or stone they were looking for in the wild, or a long range building project (roads for example).

Neither? I'd say they've learned a lot of lessons over the years. And you don't have to be sadists, you just need the desire to put everyone on an equal footing and let them murder each other Hunger Games style. "May the odds be ever in your favor."

Yeah, somebody murdered your tree.

Happens a lot sadly.

Tree got timbered. Not a bug.
