So I got some sketchbooks from Community Fair by trading but I never got one out of my Hearth Fire. So I never learned one and could not craft a Master Piece. Thankfully I knew someone who already learned sketchbook before. This seems like a bug because you cannot put sketchbooks back in Hearth Fire and if you trade with a player for them then you may not even be able to use it.

I don't think that its a bug.
Its pretty easy to get somebody to teach you the discovery.

I guess being able to put sketches back into HF would be nice, though. And also "fix" this.

Noob buys sketchbook with no one to teach it to him. Forever has sketchbook with no use. Poor noob.

The same thing is technically true for every other item in the game too, though. Stall owners could sell material accounts for sketchbook pages.

But sketchbooks are something you use real money for and should thus be exceptions.

Why doe? He who buys it ingame doesn't spend real money for it, and as I said, he can get a material account for it.
